Mr.Ohta's farm which has received The Ministry of Agriculture award is lined with rice straw and its soil is mixed with fully ripe compost making it soft and fluffy.
The green tea leaves are carefully hand-picked therefore only a limited quantity can be produced.

How to serve for 2 cups
- Allow the boiled water to cool to 60–70°C (140–158°F).
- Place 5 g (0.17oz) of tea leaves into a kyusu teapot and add 60 ml (2oz) of the water from Step 1.
- Steep for 1 minute, then pour evenly into cups, making sure to pour out every last drop.
