This event is organized annually by the Kakegawa Tea Merchants’ Cooperative to promote the improvement of tea finishing skills.

How to brew a delicious cup of tea -for 3 cups
- Bring the water to a boil, then let it cool to 70–80°C.

Place 6 g of tea leaves into a teapot and pour 240 ml of the prepared hot water.
